Serú Girán is the debut album by the eponymous band, brainchild of Charly García (his fourth and last band), released in 1978 and recorded partly in Brazil and the United States. While the album was poorly received by critics and fans at the time, it is now looked upon as one of the finest progressive rock albums in the Spanish language, containing many Argentine rock standards.
